NGC7635 in Ha

DETAILS: Imaged with the 12.5" Truss RC on 8-4-04, at f6.8 with the AP.67 reducer mods for the AO-7, and employing the ST-10XME SBIG camera, guided by the AO-7. Five hours and 10 minutes of exposure time through at 10nm hydrogen alpha filter in a CFW-8. Processed in MaxIm DL and Photoshop CS using levels, curves, layering, etc. Will be used to compose an HaRGB image.

COMMENTARY: The Bubble Nebula, located in the Constellation Cassiopeia, is another emission nebula approximately 6 light-years across, the illuminated "bubble" and surrounding nebulosity are ravaged by a bright, massive star omitting fast stellar winds of ionized gases pushing the gases into expansion shells.
