NGC6772 Planetary Nebula
DETAILS: Imaged with the LX200 10" and ST-10XME at f11.6 on 6-19-03, using a Hutech LPS filter, CFW-8, and guided by an AO-7. LRGB: 80:30:30:40 minutes, with subframes aligned in RegiStar and assembled with Sigma in MaxIm DL. LRGB combine and further processing in Photoshop.
COMMENTARY: NGC6772 is a planetary nebula located in the Constellation Aquila. It has a distinct shape with a parrellelogram center surrounding the white dwarf star near the center, which shed its outer layers during its final red giant phase.
